Eucalyptus Systems Raises $20 Million For Open-Source Private Cloud Software

Eucalyptus Systems, creator of an open source private cloud software, has raised $20 million in funding led by New Enterprise Associates, with participation from current investors Benchmark Capital and BV Capital. This brings total capital raised to date to $25.5 million.

IBM Acquires Cloud Computing Integration Company Cast Iron Systems

IBM has acquired cloud computing startup Cast Iron Systems to “broaden the delivery of cloud computing services for clients.” Cast Iron Systems provides a SaaS cloud integration software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

HyTrust Raises $10.5 Million To Help Companies Virtualize Systems

HyTrust, which helps companies manage and control virtual infrastructure, has secured $10.5 million in Series B funding from Granite Ventures and Cisco Systems.
