Eucalyptus Systems, creator of an open source private cloud software, has raised $20 million in funding led by New Enterprise Associates, with participation from current investors Benchmark Capital and BV Capital. This brings total capital raised to date to $25.5 million.

Infrastructure technology startup Infineta Systems this morning announced that it has closed a $15 million Series A round of venture capital funding with backing from Alloy Ventures and North Bridge Venture Partners.

IBM has acquired cloud computing startup Cast Iron Systems to “broaden the delivery of cloud computing services for clients.” Cast Iron Systems provides a SaaS cloud integration software. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

HyTrust, which helps companies manage and control virtual infrastructure, has secured $10.5 million in Series B funding from Granite Ventures and Cisco Systems.
